7:05 P.M. UPDATE: NV Energy reports the number of customers without power has surged to 21,214. Most outages are in the northwest Reno area. Zip code 89509 has eight outages affecting 8,152 customers.NV Energy proudly serves Nevada with a service area covering over 44,000 square miles.
